Meet Some of Our Amazing Team

Lance (he/him)

Founder & Executive Director
Lance founded Rainbow Youth Project as a social welfare organization in response to recent legislation targeting the rights of LGBTQIA+ people, women, Indigenous people, and immigrants in the United States. While constantly bringing awareness to a wide variety of social justice and political issues on social media, he realized that there was a need for a grass-roots organization that would focus on those who are in need of assistance but, far too often, fall through the cracks with larger organizations.
After several months of contemplation and serious assessment of recent legislation - coupled with the outcries from those impacted by that legislation - Rainbow Youth Project USA, Inc. was formed.
Lance achieved both his BBA and MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and his MJ from Tulane University Law School. He currently calls Chicago "home."

He coordinated a Christmas Giveaway for the Atlanta Braves' baseball team, delivering more than 450 meals to children of two Metro-Atlanta schools during the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020. His acts of kindness only built further on his years of charitable work with the Boston Children's Hospital and Habitat for Humanity. His charitable support reaches many aspects of the nation’s non-profit community: healthcare, education, animal welfare, as well as cultural and social services organizations.
Stephen holds a Master of Nonprofit Management from the DePaul University. He lives in Seattle with his husband, Kris, and their fur babies, Rocky, Spence, Gabby and Sebastian.
