The Rainbow Youth Project USA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to provide mental health services to LGBTQIA+ youth under the age of 19, all across the United States. The foundation administers and operates the Rainbow Youth Project's crisis hotline and chat line which is available 24/7 for those in need of immediate support. In addition to emergency services, the Foundation also provides suicide prevention programs and resources for long-term mental health care.

The Foundation strives to ensure meaningful access to mental health services through third-party licensed providers. This includes counseling and support groups for LGBTQIA+ youth. The foundation is especially focused on increasing access to mental health services in rural and underserved areas.

The Foundation is committed to providing quality mental health services to LGBTQIA+ young people under the age of 19 and is funded through donations, grants, and fundraising efforts.
